Teenager Keisha is wild about butterflies. She has decorated her room with them, written school papers about them, and as she starts to plan for her high school Prom, of course butterflies will be part of her look.
We had an email from Keisha the other day, describing what she has planned for a pretty bracelet / wrist corsage. Her design is based on a band made from pale pink organza ribbon, with some of the butterflies from the pack of 25 that she ordered attached to give the look of a lovely natural cloud around her wrist. She has promised to send a picture of the finished design when it's finished, and we'll be sure to post it here!

In recent days I have had the privilege to peep into the CCC mailbag to read about how our customers incorporate butterflies into their special occasions. This bride's story really made me smile!
Like so many of us these days, Lynette is acutely budget-conscious, not just because of the challenging economy in general, but because she proudly proclaims herself "a penny-pincher from way back!"
An earlier purchase of CCC butterflies inspired Lynette to choose them again for the decor and accessories used at her frankly frugal wedding.

One of the fast-fingered CCC cutters told me the other day that she overheard her little boy explaining to a friend what it is that she does, with these simple words "Mum makes butterflies."
With the calm acceptance of a child, his pal just nodded, and they went on with their play. However, the friend's Mum was more curious, and wanted to know all about this extraordinary career creating fluttery decorations for cakes and chandeliers, valances and veils!
Every one of the fairies, ladybugs, dragonflies and butterflies really is cut out one at a time, by hand, in painstaking detail by a member of the CCC team of cutters. There are no fancy machines that can come anywhere close to the dexterity and flexibility of human hands for this work. And with an ever-evolving selection of over 150 distinct styles, there could never be a standard template.

Where do I begin???
So much has happened in last few months so I have not had time to blog. ( i know slack aren't I). Well it is all good. The business has grown in leaps and bounds. We have more staff sitting hand cutting your precious little critters. I am making the web designer pulll his heair out with all the new things we will be adding and last but not least I want to welcome a new Blogger. We will call her CCC Blog Queen. She has knowledge, wit and a dedication to the english language that seems to escape me when I am busy designing and tending to customers.
The new things coming soon are:
Vinyl 3D butterflies in solid colours with clear wings that just look stunning and will help all those brides who have craved white, glitter silver and gold. We will release them in lots of new colours as time goes on.
New Colours for our brides and room decor: See below at all our yummy new colours. Till I get site updated if you are looking for any of these colours you can just order through email.
Another new item I am working on is "Wallies" yes the coloured vinyl decals for walls, windows and anywhere that need some colourful decoration.
Well enough for now as I am blogged out and I have to leave some gossip for our new blogger to ramble on about :)
